| Due to some issues with my school (i.e. they're incompetent), my financial aid check has been delayed a week. In order to make a car payment, my mom loaned me $300, and deposited it into my Regions account, based on Louisiana, at her branch in Arkansas on the 16th. The deposit was in the form of a check, drawn on her Regions checking account in Arkansas.
It is now the 19th, and as of 2:09AM, the deposit is still showing as pending. My car payment was submitted for payment yesterday, and will likely show up today. My available balance does not reflect the $300 deposit.
To make matters worse, I *DO* have overdraft protection, linked to my Regions credit card; I do not have enough available credit on the card to cover the car payment if I do get overdrafted.
Will the $300 deposit (made on f'ing Saturday, with a check from a Regions account) be available tomorrow? Am I about to be hammered with an overdraft fee on my checking account and a over-limit fee on my credit card? |

| Your mommies check will be available Tuesday. |

| Why didn't you ask for the check to be deposited as cash? |

| If your mommie had funds in her Regions account it would be an immediate transfer to your Regions account. Perhaps your mommies account did not have sufficient funds or she did not deposit it when she told you she did, if at all. |

| Most banks pull this crap? Why? Because they can. If someone deposited money in your account opened on the east coast on the west cost at 4:50PM PT it would totally screw with their daily batches, implemented "for your protection." |
