I am a current employee at Regions Bank and do understand the distress that many of you are going through. How ever I am not hear to talk about me I simply wanna hear what you have to say. This is an open topic post for all those who are no longer employeed and currently still employeed. How do you truly feel about your employer's policies and the way you are treated? Good or bad whatever it maybe just know that there are always others out there that seem to be able to agree or disagree with what you have to say but add no true insite to why. So never look for someone to justify why you feel the way you feel, just feel it, vent it, and make whatever decision works best for you stay or go.

I loved working for Regions. Now I feel like nothing I do is good enough. I feel ashamed for not making goals because I'm too busy filling out reports for my micro management team. I feel paranoid that I did something wrong even though I'm not sure what that could be. Everything is urgent, important... job defining. You are only as good as your last account or loan application. I keep hoping it will get better. I get as much abuse from upper management as I do from the customers.

Note to customers: I would never go into YOUR job and scream in your face, throw things at you, yell or make a scene. I would never demean you in your place of work... please don't do it to me. I'm a human being with real feelings just like you... trying to do a job... under stress. I have a family and child. I can't take much more abuse. You can be upset but there's no excuse for being disrespectful.

Almost.

Look at it this way, you have an expectation every day you go into work that your job is a public facing job dealing with a person who has placed complete trust of the safeguarding of their finances in the hand of Regions, and by extension, you.

The customer does not have the expectation that the institution would systematically remove large chunks of their money from their account for the slimest or questionable of reasons that appear to be at the sole discretion of that institution.

And you, as the face of this financial institution get to see the face of that frustration.

Your job will not get any better working at Regions.
