| I would like to be a part of the group that will supbeona for a copy of their review that was never produced. I was part of the let go group in Florida based on my review. When I asked to get a copy of the review I was told it was Regions property. Hum! If that is what we were let go for shouldn't we see it? We do have the right to see our own employee file. Please stand up for your rights, get a copy of your review. I too was let go for no real reason, no prior warnings, anything done verbally or written. I agree that the over 50 and those who were in line to receive a 1st 1/4 payout were let go. Bad Regions, ever heard of Karma? |
| sick and tired of it. |

| Yep, every one in the group I was in was at least 45, except for one, and all had been there at least five years. I have been told my review is on its way in the mail, as have the others. I will be curious to see what it says. I can not believe they won't even provide you with a copy of it. I mean, how do they justify letting someone go without something in writing. As for the payout, yes, we were all probably in line to get one as well. I know of some departments that do not receive big payouts, and no one was let go. I guess we just gotta deal with it, but that does not make it easy. I just know I will not find another position comparable to what I was making, and I honestly feel like I have wasted 11 years of my life. They kept a coworker of mine who is out all the time, uses more than their normal amount of sick days, etc., and completely abuses the company. But they are still there. I hope all of my work got dumped on them. All we can do is pray that we will see justice one day soon, because I firmly believe that what goes around comes around and all of those responsible for making the decision to do this will get paid back. And probably REAL soon. |

| to sick and tired:
maybe the karma you speak of has just come around to you. remember that before you were fired, you were part of the problem. you helped run the machine that swindled money away from countless people. |
| sick and tired of it. |
|
| No, the ones that are part of the problem are still working there. |
| Also sick and tired of it. |
|
| Well said Sick and Tired of it! |

| You were probably laid off (oops, I mean "fired") because your CEO needed to get his $3.8 million bonus a couple weeks ago. He deserved that bonus after the wonderful job he did with the company in 2008. |
| Pregnant and Unemployed! |

| I'm 33 weeks pregnant and was "let go" on Friday the 13th! My former mananger tried to committ suicide last November and our new manager arrived in February. There was a definite conflict in personalities. One of her former tellers told me she had issues with ppl that were "on the heavy" side. That was confirmed when she told me to stop baking and bringing in leftovers for the others at the branch....WTF! The day I was "let go" another teller stood up for me and told my manager that I had all the best numbers, referrals, etc. She turned to the teller and said I was to focused on my family and and unborn child! WOW, why would I ever want to work for a bitch like that! |
